![]() ![]() ![]() Using only two machines (CNC and 3D printer) radically speeds up the process of manufacturing/upgrading parts for our hobby. Usually these details are very small, also in most cases several copies are needed and, most importantly, high accuracy is needed. Most modelers waste a lot of time making parts for their layouts. You probably have a question: why do you need this information? I also installed limit switches on the CNC, replaced the spindle and assembled a separate electronic unit. This is an EstlCAM created by German programmer Christian Knüll. And a week ago I found a wonderful and simple program that solved this problem. I wanted to solve a very simple task - to drawing flat shapes in an Illustrator or Inkscape, and then cut them out on my CNC. This marathon almost killed me :) Most of these CAM programs are unnecessarily complex or very expensive. I have tried more than fifty programs to create a code for the CNC (it is called G-code). ![]() The software turned out to be the biggest problem of using the CNC. Hello friends! For almost a month I have been learning how to use my CNC to create the details of my layout. All donors who have supported my project over the past two years receive benefits - access to the Club for$5. Starting in November, membership in the club will be $ 20. The post quoted above is the third variation to get a freebie. In previous years, just for fun, I found these people on Facebook, and almost always there were a bunch of posts about how he again bought a new locomotive for $500. I have 30 locomotives and 8 independent track loops with 50 turnouts. The logic at the same time is so absurd - to write a report using train control applications - that every time I read it, It took everything I had not to burst out laughing.Īnother option: "I own a large railway layout. I am a student and I need to make a report and for this I need your train control application. There are only three variants of such messages. I belong to a 3D printer group on Facebook and try to help people with the same printer to resolve problems they have.Įtc. Instead I will share a rather unique story with you. Therefore a donation to become a member is not feasible. Hi, I live in South Africa and the exchange rate is rather high. Jokes aside, I'm pretty mad.ĭo you remember those african mails with the headings: "My father left me a diamond mine, and for $5000 you can become its owner." Some modellers are so stingy that they are ready to invent any excuse for a freebie. But now the delivery date has been postponed to mid-December. The package with the new bath was supposed to be at the local post office on November 15. ![]() In Russia, this is the only online store where you can buy rare parts. I was once again let down by the Chinese online store Aliexpress. As soon as I receive it, I will print the remaining details and add a section about 3D models to the site. Now I have ordered a new bath for resin of a different design. That is, the history of the CNC machine repeats itself, you need to refine this model yourself. I need to buy a special module with a film installed only from Anycubic. The original bath leaks and it is impossible to replace the FEP film in it. But the fact that the resin bath is made by the manufacturer is disgusting - that's really the problem. When trying to scrape off the resin, I damaged the protective film on the screen. A stain formed on the screen and I could not wash off the hardened resin with a solvent. It spread out between the outer surface of the FEP film and the LED screen and, accordingly, polymerized. I can't print right now because the resin leaked from the bath onto the printer screen during printing. ![]()
